2003-04 Upper Deck Rookie Exclusives Basketball Forum

In this set, the autograph insert apparently runs parallel to the base set - except for card A36, Jamaal Tinsley. I can't find record of it anywhere; it is missing from our checklist here, Beckett's checklist, and even the Upper Deck checklist on the Upper Deck site. I jumped the gun and submitted an inaccuracy report to Admin about adding the card, before doing the research to see if it existed (shame on me, I know) and wanted to put out a quick forum post. Perhaps this has been discussed before, but does anyone know for sure if this card does or doesn't exist? I can't find mention of anything, anywhere online.

The autograph and jersey sets are not actually parallels. They sometimes have the same players with different numbers, but there are players in the jersey and auto sets who did not get a base card as well.

That makes sense. So what happened to card A36, even if it isn't Tinsley? Any ideas?

I'm not sure to be honest. It Might be tinsley, but it might have been where they didn't get him to sign in time and thus no card was issued...or it might have been someone else.

I'm not seeing an A36 on any checklist, so perhaps it wasn't issued. It doesn't seem to come up for any results either when doing a Google search.

Or at least I can fake it well enough :D

It's possible it doesn't exist...There are cards I'm pretty sure don't exist on checklists here already though, but they may be such super rare short prints that they are out there somewhere.
