Just noticed that card images in this set listing are being updated with "opened" card images. When I attempted to update one which has been flagged for Incomplete Image, I found that unfolding these cards results in a damaged area where the factory glue spot held them closed. This seems an unnecessary price to pay for the sake of displaying what amounts to what is already explained in detail on the "closed" area of the card. I submit that it will be more aesthetically practical to leave the images as they are.

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.

Disagree 100%. We use images of the complete, whole card, both sides. Not half the card. Also, this is a database of images not textual descriptions. If you don't want to open a folded card, then don't. Your prerogative. But please don't upload incomplete images. There are enough members out there that are willing to do so.
And the cards can be easily opened. Use an iron on low. Cover the card with a hanky or the like, or a piece of parchment paper. A quick press and the glue is reactivated.

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

I am with C2Cigars on this one. I agree that showing the just front and back is more aesthetically pleasing, but the images in the database should show the complete card. Imagine if you have never seen one of these cards and were looking specifically for information, seeing the opened card would help.

For fun, we should scratch them all off, then make Dan create variation checklists for each possible game outcome on each card!
(By the way, I stand by my original opinion, but don't have enough interest to argue either way)

I have a few of those 2002 Topps 206 triple folders that need scans but I am like some of those who do not want to unglue them for I have had them since 2002 and it isnt fitting for me to take a chance on ungluing them then glue them back together for I feel if glued back together the card is altered.
