how can you tell if a card from this set is a refractor or Not?

Good question. I recently came into a bunch of basketball from those years. I know I have no refractors but when I try to look the refractors online, I cannot tell the difference from the base set. I guess you would have to have one in hand.

Refractors will have a rainbow type appearance to the reflecting light whereas the regular finest cards are just super shiny. ------------------------------- -- Dan -- Note: Please see my profile for more info regarding trading (section updated 3/4/2024). I knew plenty of people who could not tell the difference. They couldn't see the rainbow refraction properties. My advice, wiggle the card front around at different angles. If you see light refracted light from a prism.. or CD or foil hologram, then you probably have a refractor.
