How did I miss the last few pages of this thread? I would have gotten the answer. I guess it was more fun to read all the responses and guesses though than for me to ruin the fun pretty quick.
Dan, at least the bear has his tail down!
Personally, I am a Coors Original fan. I know they call it Banquet now (and did in the beginning) but it's always going to be Coors Original to me. That's what it was called when I first tried it. Lucky for me that it's getting more popular here in NC and so more stores carry it now. I used to only be able to get it in 24oz. cans several years ago. Now most grocery stores here carry 6-pack or 18-pack 12oz. bottles or a case of 24 twelve oz. cans. I prefer the cans b/c I can get money back for recycling them. It sucks that Coors Light is sold in every type of packaging imaginable, but only 4 types for Banquet. Actually there are 5 types. I forgot that one grocery chain sells a 9-pack of 16oz. cans with a screw-on lid. It is the same amount of liquid as a 12-pack, but that is the only form of a 12-pack of Coors Banquet that I have ever seen here in NC.
