The set is was cool because of the card designs, sadly their is not much value except for the Emmit Smith Rookie.

Product of the era. Overproduction, for the most part, kills any $ value. However, for nostalgia this one rates up there. Part of the boom period and definitely something new. I'm trying to flesh out the AP run myself.
Smith's RC's are in the 1990 sets, Score Rookie & Traded, Topps Traded, Pro Set, Fleer Update.

Not mentioning the 1990 set but they had a parallel set in somewhere like 1996-1999 (i think) called Studs
That was back in the day make pierced ear was the hype. I dont know if they have any real value but it would have been cool to use a real diamond in the card itself

96 and 97.97 was their last release so causation was the money spent on these sets equates to them going bankrupt????

There has to be a reason that one isn't marked as a RC. Must have something to do with how it was released, but I'm not an expert on Action Packed.
Edit: I looked at the B***ett description and it seems to fit the mold for RC even if it was an after season release. Issued in wax and factory set form. The set in here was created WAYYYYY back when and hasn't been touched in 5 years. Could be simply no one hs updated the Notes here. But I'll let those in the know chime in. I could be way off the mark.

Emmit Smith '90 Madden Rookie?
This rings a bell, not sure if it counts as his rookie though.

Thanks for digging around i really appreciate it! I never fully understood the classifications for RC's in the 90's as some cards that were labeled as rookies were not actually rookies and some cards that weren't labeled actually were.
