I put in an IR to have VARs added to the existing 2023 Topps Heritage Checklist back in January. As many are aware the Angels Cards in the "low number" checklist had no team name on the front of the card due to contractual reasons set forth by the Angels organization. Moving forward to the release of 2023 Topps Heritage High Number Baseball, Topps rereleased some of the low numbers (Angels cards) in the high number packs as an SSP. These cards are different than the original release as they feature "American League" in the Team banner area just like the high number cards. Every Angels card from the original release has this VAR -Team Name I have this along with examples of the majority of the cards in an excel spreadsheet if it will assist with the addition of the VARs to the base set or as a subset. Can someone assist me with getting these added? Thank You

If there is an IR in, please be patient. It will be handled. You're not special because you posted in the forums.

Wow, that is very condescending Dan. Was looking for a way ti follow up on it but I guess posting here is not advisable. I’m not trying to push buttons, but I do find it odd that you continually like to take shots at me in the forums. If you have an issue with me please message me and let’s get it taken care of. Thanks!

I'm sorry, but I just looked through the forum posts you've participated in since the beginning of the year, and I didn't see any where I even responded to you, let alone took any "shots" at you. If you see a pattern with me taking shots at you, please message me with links to these shots and we can discuss.
My message in this thread was meant to be generalized (applying to all members here), meaning that no one is special enough to get preferential treatment because they entered an IR and then post additional info in the forums. IRs will be handled as they can be. Unfortunately, we seem to be experiencing a larger volume of reports these days, ansd unfortunately, the reports are getting worse and worse. Sever lack of definitive information and inaccurate reports make it tough. Each report now needs to be researched independently, which takes up way too much time. This causes people to either take on less reports to resolve or to not take on any.

I am not going to speak on behalf of all of those who submit IRs with information lacking or the volume of IRs that are submitted, but I will speak on the one I submitted on January 3rd and the same one that I followed up with on in this thread. It explained what was impacted, it identified all that was impacted and it showed credible examples/sources of what was impacted. No research was needed, but I did say if someone had questions to reach out...as Heritage does throw curveballs and these VARS are not the typical/identifiable VARs that most of us are use to.
Regarding your comment...it wasn't needed, BigEd already replied. Your comment set me off because it was condescending, regardless of if it was towards me or the entire community. It wasn't needed and added no value to this thread and much resembles prior comments in threads that date back prior to the beginning of this year.
I will say that people do things on different levels throughout this site. Not everyone works IRs, not everyone uploads photos, and not everyone spot checks checklist and identifies inaccuracies after a checklist has been published. Some people just use the site for what it is and contribute very little. Regardless, to make remarks to any user at any level, new or veteran users is really not needed. Please do not assume that people know everything you and the others know about this website, nobody is questioning that.
With all this said, the IR has been worked and closed...all the cards impacted have been added to the existing checklist.

easy Karen, no need to pop a blood vessel or 2. Obviously there is a system in place for IR's for a reason, just because you said it was right, provided info and such, things still need to be independently confirmed to maintain the high standards that Admin wishes to keep, doesnt make it right just because... I'm sure that with the info you provided made verification much easier than normal, but like Dan said, there's 13 pages of IR's and only just so many members working on them.

Nobody is questioning the system in place for IRs, nobody said they didn't need to be independently checked and it wasn't Dan that said "13 pages of IRs...BigEd did.
Again, if you cannot add value to this conversation then you probably shouldn't reply. With that said, I believe you are trolling and that is a violation of the forum rules...is it not? "Engage in antisocial, disruptive, or destructive acts, including "flaming," "spamming," "flooding," "trolling," and "griefing."
But thank you for your concern.
"Karen"

Dan is trying to explain the reasoning to you, but doesnt seem like you want to hear it...going back thru the forums, this seems to be somewhat of an on-going issue with this set, and that you've made numerous posts about it, so this isnt a 1-off situation.
