I'm confused about the insertion rates shown here and wondering if anyone knows more about this set, or how to find out. The web isn't helping me. "Random Rookies" is all that is mentioned (nothing about gold) on the original boxes and packs, both retail and hobby, which state 1:48 packs. If the Gold parallel is 20% of print run, "reportedly", how can it be as common as 1:3 packs? It has to be a more rare insert rate, doesn't it? At 20%, there is one gold for every four regulars. Doesn't that make gold four times harder to pull, or 1:192? Unless the 1:48 refers to any Random Rookies (gold plus regular), in which case 5 lots of 48 packs (240 packs) would contain on average 4 regulars and 1 gold, setting the gold odds at 1:240 and the non-gold at 1:60 (4:240). Either way, the 1:3 doesn't make sense. The gold does appear to be quite a bit less common in the general marketplace based on my brief browsing.
Incidentally, I have 5 of these in my collection, and one of them is the gold. Wouldn't you know it.
