1994 Stadium Club Baseball Forum

I just picked up a set of these cards today and when loking through the checklist I noticed a discrepancy. While the card back on #1 that is scanned is unaltered: my #1 has the word Redeemed on it. It is in almosr white letters. Looks kinda like someone took a stamp of the word and dipped it in bleach then stamped the card. 

Any ideas. 

That's a redeemed card. If you had a winner, you sent it in and they sent you back a set with a special foil stamp. If the team went on to win the championship another set would show up with a different foil stamp.

These should be listed and used to be but someone had them deleted for some unknown reason. These are a legitimate Topps product.

It's in the 1995 Stadium Club set. I ran into this a couple years ago and had the same question. I given a reason that the cards were released in 1995 as part of that Stadium Club set; specificall the redeemed cards mirrored the 95 set degin not 94.

The contest was postponed until 1995 because of the '94 strike ended season.  Like Billy said, the redemption could be sent in for special foil stamped sets, but they ended up being '95 Stadium Club instead of '94.  The redemption card with "Redeemed" across the back came with the prize sets.  So while the original redemption cards are listed with '94 Stadium Club, the redeemed versions are listed under 1995 Stadium Club. 

As a side note, I'm looking for many of the Braves cards from the redemption sets!

Yes. And that is the only one like that in the set.

Let me check what I have as I have almost a full set of that I think.
