1997 Upper Deck Football Forum

I recently picked up a 1997 upper deck Barry Sanders “jumbo” numbered 3/6 however it is not 5”x7”, but 3.5”x5”. I have a Curtis Martin that’s the correct size of 5”x7”. So my question is where did the smaller card come from and is the checklist the same as the original jumbo set. 

One was included in specially-marked Retail boxes as a box topper, then the other may have been through a wrapper redemption offer? I added the "EXCH" note for some reason over two years ago but I don't recall where I saw the info.

As I understand it, in the Upper Deck Racing products anyway, both sizes were box toppers in retail boxes.  One size was exclusive to Wal-Mart boxes and the other size was found in boxes at other stores.  I assume the situation was similar for the Upper Deck products in other sports.
