2001 Coca-Cola/Kroger Tennessee Titans Football Forum

First time creating a set and I wanted someone to double check my work. The thing I am not sure of specifically is the mascot card.

I have the Kevin Carter in hand but created the checklist using this auction for the sheet. Also should it be a 16 card sheet with the addition of the kids club entry?

Were they only available as a sheet?

The problem I see is the checklist is not in alphabetical order by last name.

Can I delete it and re-submit alphabetized?

I believe they were only a sheet.

An IR has been submitted to resort the checklist.

Were these distributed in Kroger, or were they handed out at a Titans game? If it's the latter, these should be under Team Issue with "Tennessee Titans" as the Brand.

Not sure. I only have the Kevin Carter that I got in a trade. The ebay listing for the full sheet does not specify.

One issue I have (no big deal) if they are only distributed as a sheet.   Would that not be the base card (sheet) and then each card listed as something else (parallel set with note there are from the sheet.)???   I was told No "as is" was the way Admin wanted them.  Maybe it started that way and it is hard to change all of them.   It appears we do not have a lot of the sheets listed.

On the 2003 Coca-Cola Huston Texans.  What I was told but cannot prove.  They were distributed both at games and to some Coca-Cola distributors (Maybe only local distributers).   Not sure if they made it to stores or just for the Coca-Cola people as the guy with a sheet (that I tried to buy) was a Coca-Cola distributer employee.

Would be nice if someone or Admin would figure out where all these Coca-Cola sets go as some are Food, Promo, Team issues.  Personally, I think they all should be in one area.   It does not really matter to me as I can find them just a little longer.

To answer a couple points raised by budler.

If a set is sponsored by a food company, it goes under the normal category for that type of set (team issue, minors, etc.). It is only a food issue if you had to purchase food to get it, or it was only available at a dining or grocery establishment.

Single cards are the base set, with panels as a parallel if, and only if, that was the sole means of distribution. (The only exception we've had so far is when those "panels" are actually 2.5 X 3.5 cards themselves.)

Both of these points are directly from Admin.
