 If you have the fronts why not upload the backs?!

  I agree with Ray.   I mentioned this before.  Half the card is the back,  a very important part.   Gotta love the Topps cards where they have black numbers on a dark blue back ground.    And the Donruss with their "recent major league history".   i am sure everyone has backs of cards that they hate and some which they love.    I recently saw the backs of the 79-80 Topps Hockey set and fell in love with the set and decided to attempt to put that set together.  Only problem is that is Gretzky's rookie card.   But the back is really neat.

While I know this thread is for a set I don't have any of, I will say that I've posted a ton of scans of fronts only. Over 1000 according to my stats page. For me, it's because I had been scanning my entire collection for my own personal website/use since 2009. I didn't decide to start scanning the backs until I joined the database. By the time I did that, I already had about 40,000 card fronts scanned and I began posting them to the database. I decided though, that I was going to wait and not post any more until I did the back scans, though, and am slowly filling them in as I find the time to scan the card backs. I did, however, post some if none from that set were posted yet when I went in and checked off what I had to my collection. I will get the backs all scaned some day, it'll just take some time.

 Kind of along those lines...I am noticing my scans are a little off-kilter! I wonder if my scanner is out of alignment! I place the cards along the edge of the scan area but they are a little 'off"! Not too bad, but it is annoying to me as I am nit-picky that way!

There are some programs you can use to correct that. My favorite is PhotoScape. It's also what I use to put my copyright on the photos I take. I can't put cards right to the edge of my scanner because it cuts parts off, so all my scans have to be edited- I also use photoscape to correct the gray "film" that appears on all scans for some reason. As a plus, Photoscape is a free download.

...Just tried PhotoScape.... I am a photographer in my spare time and have had trouble figuring out other programs to work with my photos...

I LOVE THIS PROGRAM!!!  I figured it out in 5 seconds!!!  User friendly!!!

I also started using photoscape after reading this thread and I love it. Another program I recently found is GIMP. I scan in 8 cards at once... and GIMP has a plugin that will automatically take those scans and break the 8 cards down into their individual images, straighten them out and save them. Over the weekend I scanned about 2000 cards, 8 cards at a time. I set the program to run, walked away for a while and came back to have the 250 or so scans broken down into 2000 images. Just need to do some cropping and resizing and I can upload. 

I'm always trying my hardest to "avoid" cropping, if I can.  I use a Cannon Pixma all in one printer and I've found that as long as I keep the class and backing clean, she scans all my cards perfectly cropped and ready to go.  the problem is keeping her clean...  I have a cat.  self explanitory.  I am also finding reminence of my long gone long hair everywhere.  I open, static picks up all the hair and dust, and next thing I know I'm cursing the living daylights out of the stupid printer all because of one cat hair!  Swiffer dry pads work WONDERS for this problem, I've discovered.  Cheap knock offs are useless.

Older cards don't always sit straight on the scanner, as well as the light wind of closing the lid can cause the card to slip.  PhotoScape helps a tonne for these issues.

It took me a while to figure out GIMP. And I had to find the plugin to do the operation I meantioned above.. I wasted about a day figuring out how to do everything. 

 This GIMP and Photoscape...are these programs in addition to just scanning? I scan, crop using Paint, then upload! But if you have a better way, I am all for it!!
