Does anyone know if the 1971-72 Team Crests are the same as the 1972-73 Team Logos minus the WHA?

Yes they were the same, except for the Atlanta Flames & New York Islanders logos, which were new expansion teams added for the 72-73 NHL season. Those 2 logos are rarer and cost much more than the others as they only printed once during the series I release of O-Pee-Chee 1972-73 hockey.

Thanks for the info.  Any idea why Trading Card Database calls one year Team Crests and the next year they are called Team Logos ?

We're crowd-sourced. DEpends who put the sets in. Different people use different names. If you have some sort of evidence that we have the name wrong on one of them, please submit an inaccuracy report from the page of the wrong set and we'll get it fixed. But only if you determine it is incorrect first - please don't use the inaccuracy report to ask.

Lol I don't have any evidence either way, it just seems odd there is two different names for the same cards. Thanks again.
