I've been trying determine the proper listing (English or French or both) for the 1991-92 Pro Set Autographs and found some conflicting information.
According to published (mis)information, "French wax boxes contained randomly inserted Patrick Roy personally autographed cards signed and numbered on the back; 1,000 of card number 125 (first series) and 1,000 of card number 599 numbered 1001 to 2000 (second series). Roy also signed 500 cards for distribution in Canadian collector's kits. Randomly inserted in U.S. packs were a limited quantity of Kirk McLean autographed cards"
My research has led me to conclude that only an English version of card 125 (Patrick Roy) was signed (serial numbered to 1000). As well, only a French version of card 599 (Patrick Roy) was signed (serial numbered between 1001 and 4000). I can find no evidence of the existance of a signed card 501 (Kirk McLean). A version of card CC2 (the Mask) was signed in gold ink but not serial numbered. I don't know if this card is English or French or both, but it's likely the card that was distributed in "Canadian collector's kits" and may be rarer than the 500 copies reported.
It is possible that the published information which refrers to "French" actually means "Canadian" since there is reference to U.S. packs. Both English and French product were distrubuted in Canada. The most logical explanation is that card 125 was distrubuted in Canadian English Series 1; card 599 in French Series 2; and card 501 doesn't exist. Can anyone prove or disprove my theories?

All 1990 and newer cards for trade are NRMT. Expect the same in return. 1989 and older are assigned a grade. Everything on my trade list is available for sale. Reasonable prices based on condition. If it's not on my tradelist, it's not available.
