1992-93 Upper Deck Hockey Forum

I have a #476 Vincent Damphousse card with text and hologram back but the variations stop at 440.

Although the scan looks like the Hologram logo only, it actually is not. After card 440, the text and logo Holograms are ONLY present.

   The back images of this set's non-VAR (i.e. the first card listed, with the 1992 diamond logo only) needs a major clean up.  These following cards have the 1993 "text & logo" holograms on their back images:

   I'm hoping this can be tackled without needing to submit 184 IRs.  All of the above need replacement images.

   The backs of all the VAR listings appear to be correct.

If they are wrong images, each card will need an IR to either move the image to the correct location, or if the correct location alrerady has the correct image, an Ir is needed to remove the image. Someone will have to put them in. Images cannot be moved or removed without an IR.

Since I have the list handy - and I brought it up - I'll submit the IRs to remove those backs.  As I noted, the backs for the newly created VAR listings have the "text" hologram images, so no need to move - just remove.

(Edit) To clarify for those who may have not seen the other threads about the differences:

The version listed first has a single layer hologram, with the UD diamond logo dated 19 92 (appears multiple times)

The VAR listed second has a multi-layered hologram, with "UPPER DECK" text repeated, staggered in columns (some upside-down) over the UD diamond logos dated 19 93

Kurt, I can't begin to tell you how much I apprecite what you did. So many times, I have stated the same info to other members, and was greeted with "Oh, really, shame, I'm not going through that level of trouble" (or something similar). The effort is greatly appreciated.
