The cards are listed PROMO/1500 on back but somebody has them as SN1500. Is this correct or shouls the SN be removed?

You could add to the release notes that
"Although the cards all have "PROMO/1500" on the reverse, the actual print run for these cards is unknown."
Or something on that order. Otherwise, "PROMO, SN1500" (as currently shown) seems to be proper in the Note field.

No. We actually have no idea how many were printed - for all we know there could be 100,000 of these out there. But, they do have "PROMO/1500" printed directly on the cards (in the same spot where the "####/1500" is printed for the pack-issued variety).

I'd have to agree with Billy. The slash (/) stands for "of". In a SN card, e.g., 99/1500 would read "number 99 of 1500". The promo card, PROMO/1500 would read "PROMO of 1500". Of course, we don't know if there were actually 1500 promos printed. But it's not serial numbered since there is no number to the left of the slash.

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

- We don't know the print run, so there is no PR in the Note field.
- We know it's a promo, so we have "PROMO" in the Note field.
- We know it shows serial numbering (even through it's not a sequential thing), so as a card attribute, we're showing "SN1500" in the note field.
I'm pretty sure there are other examples of this notation in other sets (probably Donruss as well, since they liked doing this). Not quite sure why this is not the way to go with these?
What do you propose we put in Note?

I am agreable to this method, however, I would like to have the info that "PROMO/1500" is on the card in the release notes.

That pretty much nails it on the head.
