1990 CMC Baseball Forum

The card numbers on the website Checklist don't appear to match the numbers on the back of the cards.  For example my Jim Beachamp, Richmond Braves, show card #7 on the back of the card and details match the back of the card picture on the checklist but the card # on the checklist is not 7.

Trying to figure this out before I finish entering the rest of my 90 CMC cards.

Look at the bottom edge of the card back next to the copyright info.

edk is correct.  That one is confusing because they have their jersey numbers where you would think the card number should be.

Jim's card is #283.   This set numbered the cards in two different ways.  7 is the team set number.  And at the bottom of the card next to the copyright date is the master set number.

Thanks for the clarification - I had no thought of looking for a 2nd cardnumber - I figured it wasn't a modern era reprint so why would be there 2 card numbers.  Anyway, now I know..
