Deep Dive - 1996 Classic Visions Action 21 cards.
20 listed on TCDB - I know of at least 6 more cards that need to be listed (2 unknown players)
ON TCDB 20 cards listed - 15 of them are ACES/4 of them are TENS/1 of them are JACKS
NO QUEEN listed // NO KING listed //
I discovered a TEN (Joe Smith-Maryland Terrapins) unlisted (2 for sale on ebay right now)
I discovered a QUEEN (Rebecca Lobo-Connecticut Huskies) unlisted (worthpoint.com site) (only queen ??)
No KING is listed (has to be at least 1//unknown from my research)
The only JACK listed is for Scottie Pippen - Do more JACKS exist. My old data file from 1996 also has a Jack (Ernie Irvan-Robert Yates Racing) unlisted (old research file)
I do not possess the SELL SHEET for the 1996 Classic Visions which might possess the complete listed checklist for all the Action 21 cards.
The odds for pack/box/total cases would give some odds to calculate total production run (PR) for this product. Pack stated 4 cards per pack is the only data I have for 1996 Classic Visions.
# of packs per box-unknown//# of boxes per case-unknown//# of cases for overall product-unknown//
A reference point for the 1997 Classic Vision Signings sell sheet says 1700 cases/10 boxes per case/16 packs per box/5 cards per pack.
The odds of finding an ACE were listed as 1:13 packs.
The odds of finding a TEN were listed as 1:93 packs.
The odds of finding a JACK were listed as 1:1,373 packs.
The odds of finding a QUEEN were listed as 1:12,485 packs.
The odds of finding a KING were listed as 1:618,000 packs.
If I had a sell sheet I could calculate the total production run (PR) for each of the A/10/J/Q/K.
KNOWN: Each of the 15 ACES were distributed among the 5-Sport production equally - 3 each across 5 sports.
KNOWN: Each of the 5 TENS (includes Joe Smith) were distributed among the 5-Sport production equally - 1 each across 5 sports.
UNKNOWN: How many JACKS were issued ?? Scottie Pippen and includes Ernie Irvan as only 2 known.
My old data file suggests that the only QUEEN issued was LOBO.
My old data file does not suggest if more than 1 KING issued.
My analysis of the 1996 CLASSIC VISIONS 150 base set has 51 Basketball cards//56 Football cards//14 Hockey cards//14 Baseball cards//15 Racing cards for a complete total of 150 cards in the set. Each ACTION 21 card matched the image of the Base Card in the set. This might lean to the KING being a Basketball/Football issued card.

SECOND Prize: A/J was an autographed sports card of Joe Smith, Drew Bledsoe, Errict Rhett,
