Ok so here is the start of a lengthy thread, that by the end of it Admin might need to step in. This "set" is not actually a set but more a "collection". There is no base set in the sense that there are 100 cards, then parallels, then inserts, etc. This collection has four distinct parts, one is the Art Memorabilia, next is the Autographed Cards, then Rookie Cards and finally the ITG Buyback Cards. I am only talking about the Art Memorablia to start. The entire "collection" including this set, to me, is entered incorrectly plain and simple. Here are the details on this part of the "collection" that I have been able to digest so far .......
1. It is a collection of 4000 cards total, each card is encased with a sequential SERIES number.
2. Cards #1 to #40 - each card is hand painted by artist Jared Kelly and c/w a memorabilia patch of a player (most likely involved with the painting in some way) The artist has hand painted 10 copies of each number and since no two cards are identical each card has a SN of 1/1 on its case. Each one of the 1/1 has a SERIES number also on the case. So anotherwords, #1 has ten cards with the first listed as 0001/4000 through to 0010/4000, then we go to card #2. So using this pretty solidly researched theory card #40 would have a SERIES number from 0401/4000 to 0410/4000 with each card also listed as a SN 1/1.
3. Cards #41 - #80 - supposedly done by artist Mike James and as far a I can tell there are 10 cards of each number and they must be identical as they have a SN10. I would have to assume that they are lithographs of the original artwork but for this statement I can find no more information to confirm it 100%. So using the facts from above, card #41 should have a SN 1/10 through to 10/10 and a SERIES number of 0411/4000 through to 0420/4000 on their cases. Then continue using this method up to #80
4. Cards #81 to #144 - these are also artwork cards with a memorabilia patch but nowhere that I have looked, does it say as to who did them. Each of these cards have 50 copies, 40 Silver versions and 10 Gold. And again each card has its own SN and SERIES number. So as I can tell card #144 would have a silver version SN 1/40 through to 40/40 with Gold having SN 1/10 to 10/10. Of these 50 cards the SERIES number should be 3951/4000 to 4000/4000.
5. The cards themselves inside the case are NNO. ARGH!!
If you go to this set on the DB somebody has made an attempt to list it but either gave up or failed miserably, as its all over the place. How does one even begin to list this set?! Do cards 1-40 get a letter for each variation a,b,c,d,e,f,g,h,i and j ?!?!. I think the SERIES number was a way to stop needing the letters for variations. Give each card a number for the entire collection then there is never a need for the VAR letter. And this is just one 1/4 of the entire collection, just wait until you see the rest. ITG says that each section has 4000 cards with their own SERIES numbering and once you see what is in each section it is very easy to understand why.
Here is a link to ITGs description and checklists for the set ..........

And here is the blog of the President of ITG explaining the set himself. You may have to click a few different months to find all his info.

I have it starting in July and it has info right up til December for sure.
This is something that NEEDS to be addressed as there are card(s) that people are going to want info on, do I even dare make any decisions or do we have Admin look it all over first?! It is a huge task here for sure. Case and point ITG has my Ranford card as #3094 and the DB has him as #2469 and I have NO CLUE why!?
Thats how I have spent my weekend people how did you enjoy yours?!?! =/
