I received an old box of 2014 Topps for Christmas and pulled a Trajectory Auto redemption card (Cal Ripken Jr). The offer to redeem the card through Topps ended in Jan 2017. Is it worth the time to ask Topps about getting the autograph? My assumption is no...but thought I would ask this group.

You got nothing to lose. And a Cal Ripken autograph to gain. Go for it! ------------------------------- I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.

They won't. Panini is the only company that honors them. Pretty much the only thing they do better than anyone else in the history of the hobby.

VERY slow trading due to health problems. Not transferrable so safe to trade with, just moving is painful and can't always access the cards.

Give them some sob story about how you wanted 2020 Topps but couldn't find any so you had to settle for some old product. Probably won't work since Topps has the worst redemption program ever.
