2008 Topps Rookie Progression Football Forum

I’m seeing several cards in the later parts of the checklist showing their professional teams even though that team is not referenced on the card anywhere. The front of the card doesn’t reference any team while the back references their college. Should the college be the team assigned to these players and if so how do you add the college if the drop down only shows professional teams?

You have to select Add Multiple or Other from the dropdown and then manually type in the college team.  Which can be a pain if you don't know all the college teams and how they are listed in the database.  If the card already has an NFL team listed, you can just type over and replace.

I fixed the ones that had card images.

If you go to the Football Teams page (http://www.tradingcarddb.com/Teams.cfm/sp/Football?MODE=SELECT), you can see exactly how they are listed and ensure you've gotten them right. (Since I'm not really good with college teams, I have had to do this before.)

I can’t add the team using that drop down instruction. May be doing something wrong or not have permission, not sure which.

If you're getting the dropdown menu, you have permission.  The first line of the dropdown menu is Add Mulitple or Other.  Select it then click on Submit.  In the window that opens type the team name in Or other: field.
