Hi all, I have a few cards from this set. The back of the cards say 1967. The one set on TCDB that’s closest to this is the 1969 Topps green backs set. I can’t find anything on this 1967 set and there appears to be a lot of confusion throughout various sites. Any ideas what this 1967 set is called?
Thank you!

Curious, as the movie didn't come out until 1968, and this card looks to be from the TV show from the 1974. I think these are just from the 1975 Topps set for the TV show. The cards for the first movie also had the 1967 copyright, but they were released in 1969. I think the copyright was specific to the Planet of the Apes property, not the sets.

Please remember that copyrights are for the material, and not necessarily for the actual printing of the card. At Star Co.. we had cards printed in 1986/87 that still had 1984 copyright dates.

Dan is correct. That 1967 copyright is for the original movie's production and release companies.

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

The copyright dates throws many people off. Most of the sellers on Ebay that have the 1975 TV show cards listed, list them as 1967 due to the copyright date. Some even claim they are from the movie.
