2008 Upper Deck Documentary Baseball Forum

I wish I know what the date for each card, I know it says on the card, but you can't press like control f to search the whole page, because I want to search up for a certain day or a list online for each day for this set because there isn't , I don't see any when I search up it like someone could make a Google sheet for each day or something like that, I would but it just would take so much time I can if people want for me they're over a thousand cards in the set and more talking about then on All-Star game and signatures mini sets in it

The Name field on all of these shouldn't have been the player pictured on the front (who isn't mentioned anywhere on the front or back). It should've been something identifiable from the front and/or back instead. For example on #1, it should've been something like "LAA1: March 31st (Twins 3, Angels 2)" with Vlad linked secondarily. I don't know if anyone here wants to update 5000 cards though.

Yeah, what a mess. As for Name, going strictly by the front of the card, maybe "Angels Game 1". Using the back, maybe "LAA1 March 31st" or "Angels March 31st".

This is another of those Upper Deck sets that has two card numbers. A card number and subset (team) card number; 1 and LAA1.  They did it with football, too.

Totally agree with everyone. This set walked so Topps Now could run, I guess. I loved the idea behind it, but the fact that they didn't explicitly tie the photos to the games made it kind of fall flat for me.

If anyone is getting an itchy finger and wants to start making all of these edits, please hold off. There are a few of us who do a lot of these behind the scenes-type edits currently discussing the merits and pitfalls of attempting to make wholesale changes in the way the hobby views this set (and the Gold set). Please give us some time to gather the info needed, and ensure that we are following Admin's guidance and rules. Thank you.

IMO only   This is where the feature to lock a set would come in handy.    Admin locks the set with a note.  For this one:    we are working on it and if you want to help contact X, Y and Z or see posting A.  Also would be nice if a posting about it would be done if there is no note.

We have contacted Admin, laid out the various options for changes (as well as the option for "no change", as it would remain aligned with at least 3 other major hobby sites), and we await his guidance. Let's all wait for the guidance before doing anything. When we hear back, we will post here what the guidance was and if there are any changes to be made, how that will be coordinated. Thank you.
