Is there a difference between 2009 Topps black border and 2009 Topps black SN53? MViPh ------------------------------- Counters Always Welcome. MViP.

Comparing the #13 card images that have both been loaded into the database, the Black does not have "58 Years of Collecting" on the front nor are they SN. The Black Border has both. At least this parallel can be differentiated from both the front and the back unlike many parallels (which irks me).

If I remember correctly the black border cards without the SN were only available in Asia.

VERY slow trading due to health problems. Not transferrable so safe to trade with, just moving is painful and can't always access the cards.

It's explained in the Release Notes. The "Black" have a black border and black background. The "Black Border" have just a black border. Edited on: Jan 9, 2023 - 6:51AM ------------------------------- *Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.*
