Updating Checklists

Is there an easy way, i.e. upload the checklist updates, to properly assign team names to the players without having to do each one at a time? I have noticed a lot of checklists are missing teams...which isn't a huge deal but to go through and update 200 card entries with team names is quite time consuming. Thanks, Chris

If you click on the Teams link on the set you're on, it will give you a couple ways of entering teams in bulk.

One way is to get a page that lists the players without teams 10 on a page and you can update the teams that way without having to navigate countless pages.

The other way, which can be faster, is to assign a group of card numbers to one particular team. It displays the team drop down list at the top and a text box below - in the text box, one number per line, you enter the cards that belong to that team (easy with the old Fleer baseball sets!).

Other than those, unless Admin has something up his/her sleeve that they haven't shared yet....

I find that entering teams thru the TID system in the Things To Do section very difficult, because of cards with no teams set, like checklists. If you set No Team as a team, the card doesn't drop off the list. And because you see only see card numbers, not names, you have to go to each card to see if it is even a player. Also, we have instances where people have set Checklist as the team, or N/A as the team, which I don't believe is correct procedure, but I could be wrong. Very confusing.

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.

Maybe it's my browser, but I checked again and it still doesn't work right from my iPad, using Safari. ------------------------------- I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year.
