Can anyone tell me why this set is listed as a 1976 issue when the back of the cards clearly states "SSPC 1975"?

That's the copyright (printing) date. They went on sale in 1976. Some backs reference the results of the past season, 1975. ------------------------------- *Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.*
