Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Brent and I'm a pre1981 Tiger collector.  I've completed all Topps and Bowman team sets through 1987.  2 cards shy of completing the T204, T205, T206, and T207 sets. Have all the 1933-36 Goudey's, all the Playballs 1939-41, and several pre-war Caramel sets.  I'm on Twitter and Instagram as Brewing Cards.

I'm happy to help with information, sources, and sometimes cards at a reasonable price.  The duplicates I do have are limited to T206, Bowman, and Topps through 1987.

Hello, always good to find another Tigers collector.  It sounds like you have an impressive collection of vintage stuff.  I also am working on Topps flagship Tiger team sets, and am 2 cards short of the 52 to present run (well there are some 23 update I don’t have yet).  Good luck in finding your next Tigers gem and message me if you need anything.  Go Tigs.

I'm curious, any reason you "stopped" at 1987?

Just my opinion, but I'd suggest you put together Tiger team sets from Stadium Club. I fell in love with the cards after the 2016 set came out.  The pre-2014 sets are okay but 2014 thru 2022 I think are great.  I'm not sure how many Tiger HOF's are in the sets, but I remember Ty Cobb being in several.  

Your collection sounds impressive and I'm sure is a lot of fun to look through.

Thanks kcjays. I stopped at 1987 because that's the year I stopped collecting.    I once had the Topps run from 1967 to 2014. along with a 53 and 58Topps sets.  I evened owned the 52 Mantle about 5 years ago. 

Building the older sets was fun, but having a ton of cards didn't bring me joy.  I've sold off a bunch of cards and decided to consolidate and minimize my collection.  I decided to focus on Tigers and a few years ago I decided to chase the ultimate set.  The T206 monster.
