- As shown in external links, KDKA was a tv station, however it was also a radio station. The radio station that made the very first radio broadcast. They also employed one of Pittsburgh's most beloved individuals & sports personalities, Myron Cope. This set runs deep in Pittsburgh history while being wonderfully unique.
