Too many inserts, and too many different colors for the inserts. Example : Sidelines red. They should different variations of some players like topps use to do. I like the design, much better the last year (2015 Score) Design.
Way too many insert sets, and IMO no need for each insert to have several variations. Ridiculous when a pack of 12 cards generally has only five base veterans, three base rookies, and four inserts. Other than that, the base cards look nice (except they only show the last season's stats on the back, and don't include DOB, hometown, or college.
Score seems to have upped their game in the last couple of seasons (at least with football). As far as early releases Score is usually the first to offer NFL players in their NFL uni's. A collector's staple: cheap, very collectable (lots of inserts and variations), great for beginners and youngsters just learning about the hobby.
Just opened my first jumbo Hobby box for this release. Cards look pretty well designed. There are so many inserts and variations, it is really hard to identify exactly which are which. Released so early, the free agents and draft picks don't have accurate team information. Still, I'm a big fan of Score. |
