At first glance, one of the more, um, interesting cards of the Sanella Series. Erich Rahn the judoist was the first judo expert in Germany. He started a school at the age of 21 in 1906. In 1910, he got the German police force interested in the possibility of using jujitsu. -- This card is numbered #47. That same number is used for the card of Erwin Wegner. There are no card numbers, per se, but numbers which correspond to pages of the book, Handbook of Sports. This card must share the same page as the Wegner card. |
