Hobby greatness as a kid. Get to learn rosters of teams and getting one special card per pack. I remember my first Griffey so well. Great for a 10 year old.
Am I the only one who tried to complete the Major League Prospects and Team Leaders insert sets back when they were a child? I never did get all the cards for either set, but I recently made it a point to get all the Team Leaders cards to replace my old ones which were rather worn. I know the set is worth next to nothing these days, but I think the set has a rather clean design that's attractive in its own way. I guess the set is more valuable than the Major League Prospects set which hasn't aged particularly well value wise. Still, I'm confused as to why Chipper Jones in even in there. Wasn't Jones rookie year 1991, or was he cycling between the big leagues and the minors?
