“ ...hard to believe its already been 20 years. Stay Topps. ” -RoundtheDiamond87

“ Like the design even if it is a 10 years after the fact commemorative "fan favorites" card. ” -captkirk42

“ I like the built in cell phone on his helmet. Probably one of the first. ” -RoyalChief

“ He was a beast in RBI baseball video game. ” -carthage44

“ Steinbach was a very well-respected catcher. This card is bland, but I guess everything you could ask for is there. ” -dilemma19

“ This card reminds me. As I am going through boxes of cards and adding them to the database, man were there a ton of sets made in the early to mid 2000s featuring just retired players. ” -rmpaq5

“ Very so-so. Not a fan of the double face shot on the front. The logo under the A's logo makes this too busy. Glad I can read the topps verbiage above facial #2, too bad Steinbach's name is hard to read. I will give props to the back though. I actually like the purple background on the stats. ” -muskie027

I really like this set, Most of the set has new pictures of the player on different years of topps cards which brings a different variety to a players collection. As far as Steinbach goes, he was one of my favorite catchers and very underrated due to Jose and Big Mac getting most of the glammer. I still remember in 1988 he was voted to the All-Star game where he hit the winning home run.for the AL.
