“ I really like this Donruss design. they did a better job with football then they did with the NBA or NASCAR sets which used the same design, as the football borders were team colored. All the NBA cards had a brown border and all the NASCAR cards had white. The backs have too much wasted space in my opinion, but at least they are colorful. ” -Billy Kingsley

“ When Donruss was really Donruss until the late 1990s or 2004 or whenever it was they "folded" I loved most of their set designs, even the 90 design that is honored in here with the "stars" or "blots" or whatever the dots are supposed to be and stripes. However this design using the 1990 design with added stripes ala 1991? tends to be a bit much. Back is OK but after having card sets that have had full player stats I get a bit annoyed with this one year only designs. ” -captkirk42

“ I actually like the front of the Donruss cards and surprisingly find myself attracted to the Football and Basketball releases. I just hate those awful Panini backs.
