Year: 2017

Set: Donruss - Jersey Number (Rate)

Card: #90 Terrance Williams

“ The front of this card is almost perfection. Cool looking border, great action shot that doesn't cut off any body parts. The only thing i would say is Dallas should have been a bit bigger. How much I love the front is almost as much as I hate the back. Bland whiteness on most of the back. Tons of wasted space. A blurb that starts off talking about his Twitter account. How do you do so well on one side and completely mess it up on the other. I would give the front a 9 and the back a 1 or 0. ” -davidhandberry

“ Looks like a "gold" parallel of a base card. I'm confused as to where this "Jersey Number" set is actually located in the database. Is it an insert to the regular set? This is why I hate modern cards sets these days. During the overproduced mid 1980s to mid 1990s the problem was way too many card companies making dozens of card sets and millions of each individual card. Now days you have a handful of companies still making dozens of sets but now back just to a few hundred thousand copies of individual cards instead of millions, but they are making 1,000s of parallels and inserts and parallels of the inserts so it is just as messy and twice as confusing. ” -captkirk42

“ Not sure what this jersey number subset is, but an this is an ok card. I will say I think Panini does a real good job with the front of the Donruss brand. The backs are awful though. ” -muskie027

“ I'm puzzled on the naming here. The card number is clearly #90. The jersey number is clearly #83. The front # is also clearly 83, so they are seriously advertising that. But this isn't a card with a piece of jersey included, right? So why is the set named that way? Or is there a jersey artifact here that I cannot detect? Or is he from New Jersey? If they're just big on the #83, then did they also release a set called "2017 Donruss - Team Name" where they listed each player's team on the front of the card? Oh, yeah...that's every card ever made. Sorry--I don't get it. ” -kents_stuff
