Card: #130 David Backes
“ I like it. ” -muskie027
“ A great set. Ultra was and still is my favorite brand in cardboard history. ” -Billy Kingsley
“ The front is very well done. I am not a huge fan of vertical writing but it isn't a deal breaker. The back on the other hand is where stats go wrong. They leave so much space for stats that there is just a giant open space. We were taught years ago how to combat this by putting some biographical info or a cartoon or a blurb of some kind. Instead Ultra went with repeating Ultra logos. Also if you didn't know it his number is 42 you can tell because that is the largest font used on the whole card. Not his name, position, team or even the card company. Instead his uniform number. ” -davidhandberry
“ I usually like Fleer Ultra, but I don't like the vertical fonts, plus the team name is hard to read in this set. Back is typically OK- Good. ” -captkirk42
“ Glad I'm not an NHL goalie. You mostly see opponents' backsides. ” -dilemma19
“ If my card were ever of me riding the pony on a national brand, i would be so excited. Good looking card. ” -parsley24
“ Great picture. Horrible back. ” -cjjt
“ For me, names on the side of a card that stretch from the bottom to the top have to be done right to make the card work. This one doesn't... ” -rmitchell6700
