Year: 1994

Set: Fleer ProCards (Rate)

Card: #2736 Carlos Cabrera

“ Hmm. Going by the patch on his sleeve he was in the Blue Jays farm system but I don't remember him. Nice card but I wish if you are going to show someone in a batting stance he didn't have his back to the outfield. I do like the billboards in the background though. ” -John Kerry

“ Not really a comment on this card, but something I learned by being a member of the Database. For many, many years I thought that minor league teams had local players. For instance my local team, the Hudson Valley Renegades, I thought they would have players that were from the Hudson Valley, the teams from California, Iowa, Maryland, whatever, would have players from that area. I learned that's not at all how it works by looking at galleries on here, but really, I should have been able to figure it out on my own, as it didn't leave any provision for international players. I can't say I thought about it very much, to be honest, but I had thought about it. ” -Billy Kingsley

“ Minor league card with the fence adverts showing! I love it. I don't care for the lighting on the jersey, it looks not well shot, almost as if by an amateur photographer. Otherwise great card front. The back is super boring. ” -Soldan

“ This is baseball. I want to go watch this guy play at this stadium. I wish the major league affiliates didn't brand their players with the logo patch on the sleeve, though. ” -switzr1

“ Lets hear it for the token Random Minor League card of the week. Hagerstown is now an affiliate of the Washington Nationals the Blue Jays were about 3 affiliates ago. ” -captkirk42

“ Photo taken at historic Municipal Stadium in Hagerstown. One year they weren’t an Oriole or Nationals affiliate. Love these cards. ” -IfbBirdsCards

“ Not bad for a minor league card. My thing is still the company logo bigger than everything else. ” -parsley24

“ Everything I expect in a minor league card. I like it. ” -muskie027

“ Not bad for early 90's MiLB, I suppose. But not overwhelming. ” -kents_stuff
