Card: #334 Michael Cuddyer

“ I gotta say, I don't like this card at all. ” -switzr1

“ What is he looking at? Certainly not the ball he is, I presume, going to sign.Maybe he is trying to figure out if the Sharpie has the right tip for signing a ball. Definitely an out-of-the-normal picture. ” -John Kerry

“ Is he launching the pen into space?? okay... ” -Eofet

“ sometimes card companies try to hard. This is one of those situations. I would normally like this card, but not so much. ” -parsley24

“ Ah Upper Deck Vintage, their answer to Heritage before Heritage was a thing. I used to hate these things because they had borrowed some Topps Designs, but in later years have grown to like them. Especially when there is a PC player needed. ” -captkirk42

“ Now that's an unusual image choice. That makes it much more interesting to me. ” -Billy Kingsley

“ those were the days... twins winning the central everyother year. now we're lucky if they make it about .500 ” -Thunderfoot

“ Great picture! Love it. ” -cjjt

“ Personally I would say this card has potential. I don't like it as is, but gussy it up a bit--new font, better border (either round the corners or don't, but make it obviously consistent), smaller corporate logo, etc.--and I think I'd like the design overall. ” -kents_stuff

“ Looks like MiLB, but I don’t know, I am unfamiliar with this set. ” -muskie027

2003 UD Vintage wasn't too good, but I really liked the 2004 set.

BTW, this set was playing off of the Fleer Tradition sets (that started in 1999). It had nothing to do with future Topps Heritage sets. I just had to say that!

As for the photo, it looks like he is trying to point out for whom in the crowd he is signing the ball. He needs to know where it goes after he signs it.

I have a collection of cards featuring players signing autographs, so for me, it makes the cut.
