“ I think I am becoming a fan of Topps less and less each day. Every year looks too similar to the previous year and years. They have had about 4 times in my lifetime (36 years) that they completely revamped and did something new and original. ” -davidhandberry

“ Its all about the base about the base, no doubles... Wait we're not playing Name that tune? OK The Topps designs from the last 5 or 6 years with maybe the exception of 2015 all look very similar and if you are not seeing the crossbeams correctly start all looking alike. The backs even though there are fewer colors and they started matching them to team colors they still seem too colorful to me. It is probably due to the card stock used for modern cards and the type of inks used now-days. ” -captkirk42
