“ I like that some guys who would otherwise be considered disabled have made it in baseball...some all the way to Hall of Fame/Legend status. ” -Billy Kingsley

“ Very nice. For people like me that have never made it to Cooperstown this at least gives us a glimpse. ” -davidhandberry

“ One of the best nicknames in baseball. These cards always remind me of the missed opportunity of not buying a complete set a long time ago and then trying to get as many as possible signed before the HOF's passed on. ” -bpaul14

“ Like the look and idea of it, but even as a postcard it is just too boring for me. ” -captkirk42

“ I love the name Mordecai. ” -parsley24

“ I know the set is considered a classic, but all I see when I look at these cards is the autograph versions that get chopped up and added to sets as a cut signature. ” -Corky

I've got one of these, Gaylord Perry to be exact. My mom's father got him to sign it also.

All 16 (13 Cubs) of these I've picked up in my two trips to the HOF are sitting here in my office. I didn't even consider them as "baseball cards," but I count them now. Alas, I did not pick up a Mordecai Brown, which I regret now. Guess I'll have to go back when Maddon and Rizzo are inducted....

What a surprise.

Back to back days with 1965-19  Cooperstown Plaque Postcards. I wonder what tomorrows will be.
