“ Drafted by the A's 2001, obtained in trade 2006, Dodger fans under appreciated Andre Ethier. I might even say disrespected. For a 6 year run, 2008-2013, he put up the best numbers on the team, but he was almost always outfielder #4, and on the bubble to be traded away. It seems like the Dodgers always had another OF on the DL, so Ethier was kept around but mentioned as a guy that could be traded if they could fill a need elsewhere on the roster. He ended up staying with the Dodgers for his full 12 year career, the last 2 had injury issues. ” -abide
