I was working at a Magazine wholesaler when they came out and we were very limited on what we got. I bought what they let me and loved them. So I went to some stores we delivered them to and bought more, at retail price. I still have the set in sheets and an album.

Remember how Topps wanted to make these "Premium" cards seem more limited, by selling only so many to differing retail outlets (like SAM's Club).  Also, remember how the Card Dealers would line up early, before Store opening, and then get in to The Store and buy these up, never leaving any for Us die hard Collectors.  Now You can get these so easily and they still look nice.  Glad to have this one as a complete set.  Interesting memories from a fascinating era of card collecting popularity (the surge of the early 1990's).  From 2020 to now is a little like that era . . .

Enjoyed watching Roger pitch!  Remember how in April 1988, I showed up for a weekday Game and got to see Him pitch masterfully at Fenway Park.  Good times & Great memories!!

Yours in The Hobby - Felix

I'll take this card of the day as a sign I should accept the offer I have on ebay for the complete 1991 baseball set

Remember all the error cards from this set!? I bought 1 pack of these for probably every 10 packs of Topps Series 1 & 2

Honestly this is my #1 favorite set from growing up. I literally remember putting stacks of quarters together to see if I had enough for packs. Junior was the best single I got in a pack. Barry Bonds was the last card I needed to complete the set. Bought in Cooperstown during the HOF induction of Ripken and Gwynn!
