These cards are a core memory for me. Constantly thumbing through them, reading all the stats and stories and then wrapping them back in their rubber bands.

A favorite of mine...was only a couple years into collecting at that point,being 8,9 at the time...buying my KISS cards,too,all with chore money...and don`t forget my Sgt. Rock comics......I can smell the cards now...........

For everyone up in arms about Panini not being team licensed in current baseball and all that, several of these early football sets by Topps weren't team licensed either. These are very prototypical of 70s sports cards.
