Hi, I am not a collector, however I have a full unopened box of 1996 IntrepridATP Signature Blitz tennis cards.  The box conains 100 series cards with 27 inserts.  As everyone here seems to have expertise in collecting, I thought this would be a good place to ask:

a)  what people think the entire unopened box may be worth;

b)  whether it would be better for me to open the box to see if any rare cards; and/or

c)  if anyone would be interested in buying the box?

I collect tennis cards and this is my assessment:

The good news: unopened boxes of this product rarely show up. The bad: the cards do not seem very popular anymore. This set however is one of the better ones but that is strictly personal. Ebay has plenty of single cards from this set to offer and those listed with a COMC logo are often ridiculously overpriced given their condition. I bought an almost complete base set of 100 recently for about $9 in acceptable condition.

Since my set is not complete and I could use some cards in better condition, I am willing to pay max. $40 for it including shipping to Netherlands/Europe. I think this is a fair estimate. Feel free to get a second opinion though. I'll gift the duplicates to my cousin, who is a kids/youth tennis teacher.

If you're not interested in the product, keep it sealed. It's always a gamble as to what you might have missed out on. The inserts are not very exciting, except for the 4 different signature cards but they are highly limited. Chances are very slim to get these but obviously each box is a chance!
