Buy/Sell/Trade Forum

    I have my card collection, I have over 400,000 cards listed on the TCDB and over 500,000 listed on Beckett, plus I have many boxes of unlisted cards, many unopened boxes of cards, factory sets and many large totes of unopened packs. Most of the cards are baseball but there is also football, basketball, football, hockey, tennis, golf, multi-sports and gaming cards. 

     I am 76 years old and my health is getting worse, I am getting tired of spending $ 275.00 a month for a storage area to hold the cards. I have tried selling, I have tried trading, I have tried giving to charity and I some how normally get taken.

    My family has no interest in the cards and don't want to be bothered with trying to sell or get rid of them after I die. 

        Here is what I am going to try to do. I live in Sacramento, California, and if anyone is willing to come to Sacramento, Ca with a truck I will give them all the cards and the few bobble-heads, signed baseball and other objects that I have for FREE just for picking them up. If you want I can throw in a clothes washer and dryer and a dish washer for free also.

     I think there is a way for you to see what is in my collection that I have added some how on the site..

           FREE for pickup..

Glad you got to enjoy the hobby for so long. It’s a great idea to pass that collection on for free, hope they find a good home.

I wish I was closer to California, I would definitely stop by.  Buffalo is on the opposite side of the country though.  If you have no luck on a taker, I would be more than willing to purchase some of unopened stuff and sets.  If it gets to that point, PM me.

WOW ....... that is tempting even here in Canada. Masy have to ask the weife as the long weekend is right around the corner. Thanks for the tip Chuck and will keep you in the loop. That would be a great start for my dream shop.

I know I am insane, but I mapquested it anyway.  36 hours if I drove it straight.  How sick is it that I spent about 15 - 20 minutes trying to figure out if I could make it happen?

Well my wife is interested, we would be willing to make the drive there over the long weekend coming up if this is indeed an honest gesture. She said she would sleep on it. this truely would be a huge task for us folk up north but I'm always interested in a crazy story!! Just to remind you I am serious!!

I wouldn't say insane or sick, maybe addicted though. I didn't need to check anything. All I'd have to do is hop on I-40 West and then go north at the end it. But I'd need to rent a truck and take a week off from work. Or fly there and truck back home. Both options are more than I can afford right now.
