Ok everyone. I have a huge favor to ask. I am looking for any cards from the 1941 Redskins with Richard Meyer. I do not know position or jersey number at this time. I have a very good friend that I am trying to do something special for. This was his grandpa and he talks about him a lot. They were very close and I want to make a special collage/plaque for him. Any and all help will be appreciated.

I cannot not find any reference to any Richard Meyer ever playing for the Washington Redskins.  Nor can I find any reference to a Richard Meyer ever playing in the NFL.

pro-football reference doesn't show any players by that name nor does he show up on the 1941 Redskins roster. I don't see much hope of finding anything.

A search at newspapers.com doesn't bring up any mention of Richard Meyer on the Redskins between 1940 and 1942.

Thanks for the help. I am going to see if I can get more info from him like if he used a different name; or if the years or team might be wrong.

There's a Jack Meyer with cards in a University of Michigan collegiate set on TCDB.  One of the backs mentions he played there in 1938.  Right time frame at least...
