Year: 1992

Set: Pacific (Rate)

Card: #198 Greg McMurtry

“ Good photo and good scan. ” -Billy Kingsley

“ 1) Those Patriot Unis are classic. 2) In my opinion the pictures should be reversed with the shot involving more action on the front. ” -rmpaq5

“ This Patriot logo is far greater than the crap now. Probably because I associate it with Tom "Cheater" Brady. The 92 Pacific is one of my favorite sets. ” -RoyalChief

“ I enjoy this set. Solid border, big picture, action shot on back with sats and narrative. ” -SFC Temple

“ OK design the card stock I didn't like back then. Front should have team name. Great that the team logo is used with the helmet so team name not "necessary" but it really helps when sorting them. Back photo a bit large. Only one year stats? ” -captkirk42

“ Despite looking like I churned it out of my basement, the depressing thing about this card is that it stacks up pretty well against other 1992 releases. This era of trading cards doesn't boast many redeeming features. ” -dilemma19

“ I loved these cards when I was a kid! ” -carthage44

“ *Yawn* ” -DarkSide830

I always loved the early Pacific stuff. I have WAY too many of them but always seem to enjoy coming across them over the years. Great RCOTD!

This is a good set because of the nice action shots. Also, this is a big set (660) spanning over two series. The most interesting thing about this set is that you get a lot of players who you normally would not get in other sets.

Cool name :)

I really liked Pacific when they first came on to the scene. Kind of dull looking to me now, guess because I busted so much of the set from 1991 back then.
