Random Card of the Day

Year: 2003

Set: Upper Deck Finite (Rate)

Card: #273 Willie Ponder

“ This is just a horrible card. When the best thing about it is an action picture of a player in workout shorts, you know the card is bad. Design is terrible on both sides, especially the Finite Rookie bar across the middle of the front. At least it has a team logo on both sides and a serial number, but it's still bad. ” -spazmatastic

“ I don't know if he will ponder but I am pondering whether I like this card or not. It is a bit busy but I like the color scheme. I wish they had zoomed out just a bit to get all of him in the picture but I forgive action shots for this. I like the back. I would probably give the front a 8 and the back a 9. ” -davidhandberry

“ Never good when you're drafted to "improve special teams", unless you're a punter or kicker. ” -Splinter_9

“ Wow, green and purple looks a lot nicer on this design than the blue and tan of the NBA design. ” -Billy Kingsley

“ I hated these things when I first saw them. I like the serial numbers but thought it was too "Computerized" I won't even pretend to figure out what it says across his waist. I also don't like the summer camp/practice squad workout clothes. ” -captkirk42

“ Me like ” -Kirbythedodger

“ All time worst color combination. ” -NJDevils

The card is definitely different and shows a different side of a NFL player. Can't go wrong with an Upper Deck card. -bergquister

Always wondered on the decision process conducted by the editorial board.

At first glance, I thought this was 1999 Playoff Absolute SSD.
