Year: 1991

Set: Classic Best Eugene Emeralds (Rate)

Card: #26 Joel Johnson

“ I have always had a liking for minor league cards and this is no different. I remember having several prospect cards of him and looking him up he was the Royals number one prospect in 92, he never lived up to the top prospect status and after a handful of years bouncing between the majors and minors he disappeared for good before turning 30. ” -davidhandberry

“ I like this one a lot. This is minor league baseball. ” -switzr1

“ Not a fan of Classic Games cards. Fan of the original Donruss "Classics" sets, but not these "Classic Best" by Classic Games. They came at a time when I was really not into minor league cards. Still not big into the minor league stuff except for the affiliates of the Nationals. The guys I recognize the names of. ” -captkirk42

“ Scan by jupiterhill. ” -Kirbythedodger

“ Excellent photo ” -NJDevils

“ Never really got into Classic. They aren't bad. ” -muskie027

This was one of my first sets I bought off Ebay when I got back into collecting.

My 6th card of the day, I'm starting to move up in the World.  Maybe this will motivate me to add more scans soon.

Thats what a card should look like. The player and the field. Not a bunch of graphics, designs or words covering it.
