“ I always loved early Hoops card backs. They were very reminiscent of Score with so much information. Give 14 year old me a stack of Hoops and a couple of hours to read them and I was happy. ” -hiflew

My favorite Hornets player ever and YES, he was always underrated. The Hornets have barely even made the playoffs at all since he and Larry Johnson left the team. As for the card, Hoops was great in the early years and up to about 2000 or so. The designs were always solid and the stats on the back were always fantastic. It would be amazing to see cards in ANY sport with this many stats on the back these days!

Can Panini (or Fanatics) make a card this appealing in the near future? Sadly, I doubt it.
