Might be worse that he has 224 cards listed. I wonder who has the most cards and never played in the majors.

@pjdionne - I was on a call with Topps about ten or twelve years ago as part of a focus group, and someone asked that exact question. IIRC, they said it has to do with the contracts process; agents will say "okay, we'll let you sign this guy for cards, but you need to sign these other three guys we represent too."
