Oh I just lightly dab it trying to lift off the residue. The tape method would probably work if I was more aggressive with it but I make sure not to damage the card. Maybe I'll try the "shirt rub" method next.

The shirt rub method worked like a charm. Now it looks great so my "75th anniversary" Bill Caudill can take it's place alongside the original 1980 Bill Caudill card I already had.

I've gotten 30 or so out of Topps Heritage the past few years and NONE of them I'd consider above good or even good condition.
